The European Union announced today, Tuesday, that it continues its plans to include Ukraine, noting that the guarantees that will be presented to Ukraine to end the war will be American and European.
In the same context, Ukrainian President Voludimir Zellinski visited Washington, DC, holding a bilateral meeting with US President Donald Trump at the White House that lasted for nearly an hour, to discuss ways to end the war in Ukraine.

Later on Zelinski joined a number of European leaders, including European Commission President Ursula von der Layen, NATO Secretary -General Mark Route, British Prime Minister Kiir Starmer, German Chancellor Friedrich Mertz, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni. European leaders stressed the need to provide security guarantees within any possible peace agreement with Russia.
After the end of the talks, Trump announced his arrangement for an upcoming meeting between Zelinski and Russian President Vladimir Putin, followed by a triple meeting in which he will participate personally. Trump had held a direct meeting with Putin on Friday in Alaska.
The official Russian media released a video clip in which it claims to seize an American -soldier’s carrier from the Ukrainian army, as it raises the Russian and American flags. Meanwhile, Zellinski announced the killing of seven people in attacks with drones targeting Kharkiv, and three others were killed in a missile shelling.
