A video clip of a surveillance camera in Dhamar Governorate, north of Yemen, showed the moment a young child intervened to save his sister from an attempt to kidnap by a veiled woman.
The circulating registration documented, the woman approached the girl and her attempt to move away from her, before her brother who rushed quickly and extracted her from her grip, to return her to safety, according to Yemeni media.
The scene, which spread on a large scale, sparked admiration and praise of the child’s courage and speed of his intuition, while the calls of parents and society were renewed not to leave children without supervision in light of the growing kidnappings.
