The Ukrainian company Fire Point announced that its new -range missile “Flamingo” has moved from the idea stage to combat use in less than nine months, and it is now in the serial production stage.
The missile, which has a range of more than 3,000 km and its warhead is 1,150 kg, was designed and fully made in Ukraine according to the company, with advanced resistance to the Russian electronic warfare. The company plans to produce 200 units per month by October.
The Associated Press entered the factory that produces the new “Flamingo” missile, which sparked widespread controversy over its origins. The factory, which began to produce enlightenings, is now producing Cruise missiles at a daily rate.
Evolution raised questions about whether the missile is really homemade or as a result of external cooperation. Journalist Patricha Marines wrote that the announced ability to produce 8 missiles per day may suggest that the factory does not make everything locally, but rather collects ready -made groups coming from Europe to circumvent the restrictions imposed on the export of long -range missiles.
