The Egyptian television and some private channels are transmitting Friday prayers today, August 22, 2025, from the rehab of the Al -Azhar Mosque.
The Ministry of Awqaf set the topic of Friday sermon today, August 22, 2025 corresponding to 28 Safar 1447 AH, entitled: “From the tree a tree that does not drop its paper”, in all mosques, with the exception of the Al -Azhar Mosque because it follows the sheikhdom and not the ministry.

The Ministry of Awqaf said: The aim of this sermon is to raise awareness of the methods and reasons for developing thought in general and critical thought in particular.
The Ministry of Awqaf continues its efforts to reconstruct the homes of God with the opening of 15 mosques today, Friday, August 22, where a new mosque was constructed and built, 12 mosques, and the maintenance and development of two mosques.
The Ministry of Awqaf has also announced the arrival of the total number of mosques opened since July 2025 until now, to 100 mosques, including 84 mosques between new construction, replacement and renewal, and 16 mosques for maintenance and development.
The Ministry confirmed that the total of what was repaid, renewed, maintained and brushes since July 2014 amounted to 13589 mosques, at a total cost of about 23 billion and 432 million pounds.
