Dr. Basil Adel, head of the Awareness Party, attacked the tomorrow’s party, explaining the reason for not joining him instead of establishing his new party, saying: “Where is the tomorrow party? .. I am not satisfied with the tomorrow party that exists now, this was the Ayman Nour party, whether it is consistent or disagrees with it, but the current party is what I know .. and the idea of pounce on the parties or stealing the effort of a person who is rejected,” adding: The politician, and I am the second younger party leader in Egypt. “
Tomorrow’s party is no longer the same
Adel pointed out, during his meeting on the “Politics Asrar” program with the journalist writer Hind Mukhtar on the “He” channel, that the Awareness Party is a liberal opponent party, which presents a new political experience based on the middle school, explaining that the party, within 8 months, presented 5 individual candidates, as well as organizing activities, seminars and medical campaigns, and issuing all the necessary political literature. He also affirmed his support for the national list, despite the absence of its representatives, in order to preserve the cohesion within Parliament.
In a related context, the head of the Awareness Party talked about his experience in the Brotherhood’s parliament, describing it as “alienated and challenging”, saying: “I was entering the parliament that I felt that I was strange, not in Egypt, the shapes and the way are different, and the shape of the country was not representative in Parliament.” He added: “I entered many battles with the Brotherhood, and I have a saying in the last session before the parliament was dissolved: Whoever imagines that he is holding the country in his hand, so he did not flee and rose and rose except as it flew fell.”
Basil Adel revealed that the Brotherhood offered him more than one position at that time, including the membership of the Shura Council, but he refused: “I believe in the civil state, and I did not join a day for the left … My beliefs and my political stances are fixed, I do not have all the tables, and I seek to highlight a political figure worthy of Egypt.”
He added, “I was involved in political life and dealt with all its symbols, and what I saw may not see generations, and this experience that made me establish an average reformist party that works to advise power, not clash with it.”
It is noteworthy that the “Politics Asrar” program, presented by journalist Hind Mukhtar, editor -in -chief of the seventh day, will be shown on Wednesday and Thursday at eleven in the evening, and reveals the scenes of the Egyptian political scene by hosting a group of politicians, heads of parties and public figures, while discussing opposition issues, and the role of parties in the upcoming elections, in addition to highlighting the participation of women and youth in political work.
