Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, will open today a number of service and development projects in Qalyubia Governorate, as part of the governorate’s celebrations of its national day.

The visit program includes the inspection of the egg factory in the city of Khanka after its rehabilitation and operation, and the opening of the Prophet Moussa Street in the East Shubra Al -Khaimah neighborhood, in addition to the opening of the infantry bridge in the Al -Assar axis in the eastern Shubra Al -Khaimah neighborhood.
The Minister is also continuing the work of raising the historical accumulations in a plot of land north of the circular road in the city of Qalioub, after the completion of the removal of 157 thousand tons of waste, as well as the opening of the intermediate station in the Al -Qanater Charity City.
Within the framework of supporting the cleaning system in the governorate, the Minister is witnessing the delivery of 10 trusses provided by the Ministry of Environment (Solid Waste Authority) to a number of NGOs working in the hygiene sector in Qalyubia.
