The journalist and writer of the newspaper “Al -Watan”, Mai Abdulaziz, discussed her first scientific study, and included digital transformation in Bahraini insurance companies, during her participation in the work of the International Conference on Business and Technology “ICBTOXFord 2024”, at Oxford University in England, in the presence of senior academics and international researchers.
Mai Abdulaziz published the scientific study in an international book issued by “Springer Nature” and classified in the global database “Scopus”.
The study titled: “The impact of the digital media on the speed of moving from traditional work to work via the Internet in small and medium insurance companies in Bahrain, with the call to adopt hybrid work.”
Discussions on the pivotal role of digital media focused on accelerating the adoption of work from a distance during crises, stressing the importance of adopting the hybrid business model to enhance the continuity of business and reduce pressure on institutions and employees in the days of peace as well as in the days of crises.
Scientific discussions affected the results of the research, and added an added value, while Mai Abdulaziz thanked the supervisors for their valuable support, considering that discussing such scientific and academic studies abroad establishes the position of Bahraini media professionals in the international academic field.
