The UAE launches the third version of “100 companies from the future”

The Ministry of Economy and Tourism and the Government and Future Development Office in the UAE announced the launch of the third edition of the “100 companies from the future”, which aims to highlight the most developed and innovative companies and projects and operate in the new economy sectors. The initiative aims, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the companies that are based in the UAE headquarters or its work, after passing the evaluation process and completing the required conditions and standards, as the application has been opened currently to companies wishing to join through the initiative’s website, to be closed next October. Abdullah bin Touq, the UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism, stressed that the initiative is working to provide all the opportunities and potentials that talent and entrepreneurial projects need to develop more successful ideas, and expand the sectors of the new economy, explaining that the initiative provides effective communication with a wide network of investment funds and global investors, and to see the latest practices and trends related to financing mechanisms for small and medium projects. In its third edition, the initiative receives applications for candidacy for companies and projects that work in the new economy sectors, which include: advanced industries, agricultural technology, biotechnology, creative industries, cybersecurity, education technology, food technology, financial technology, health technology, human resource technology, smart mobility, legal technology, real estate technology, renewable energy, space, sustainability and the environment. Since the start of the initiative in 2022 until now, the risk capital partners have invested approximately $ 100 million in more than 40 companies listed on the list.
