Today, the sisterly United Arab Emirates performed the 80th air landing over the Gaza Strip as part of the “Birds of Goodness” process, in cooperation with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and with the participation of Germany and Indonesia.
The Emirates News Agency (WAM) stated that the shipment included quantities of basic foodstuffs, which were equipped with the support of Emirati institutions and charities, to meet the needs of the sector’s residents in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions.
With the completion of this landing, the total air aid provided by the UAE within this process reached more than 4068 tons, including food and necessary supplies, which reflects its steadfast commitment to supporting the Palestinian brothers and enhancing their steadfastness.
These initiatives highlight the pioneering role of the UAE in international relief work, by coordinating regional and international efforts and enhancing the culture of giving to alleviate the suffering of those affected in crisis areas.
