It is beautiful to be the beginning of my work in the press, specifically in the newspaper “Al -Watan”, is linked to the Supreme Council for Women, where the council was one of the national institutions that were assigned to cover its news, which contributed to the closeness of the activities and activities of the council, which I still follow today, as one of the leading national achievements at the region and the world.

Today, as we celebrate the anniversary of the twenty -four years, I find a witness to an exceptional national experience that made Bahraini women a place worthy of them, where any citizen or citizen can touch the achievements of the council over the past years, which have turned into creative programs, events and initiatives that contributed to achieving qualitative movements for Bahraini women, and succeeded in empowering women in various fields, highlighting their real role in the development process Bahrain lives, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, may God protect and preserve him.

The Supreme Council for Women, which was established on the twenty -second of August 2001 under the directives and patronage of His Majesty the King, headed He made the council a model in the region and the world.

For more than two decades, the Council translated its vision into concrete achievements through plans and strategies, supportive legislation, and close partnerships with state institutions, private sector and civil society, and perhaps the launch of the national plan for the advancement of Bahraini women (2025-2026) under the slogan “from empowerment, progress and pursuit of leadership”, the most prominent evidence of the seriousness of work, as it focused on basic axes such as family stability, economic participation, quality of life, and participation In decision -making.

The council was not limited to the interior, but rather carried Bahrain to regional and international forums. From the Princess Sabika International Prize for Women Empowerment in cooperation with the United Nations, to its active presence in the meetings of the Gulf Cooperation Council, where Bahrain was always at the forefront of the Arab and international scene of women’s issues.

Today, it can be said that the Supreme Council for Women has achieved achievements that touch the sky, as it moved with Bahraini women from the stage of demanding rights to the stage of leadership and the impact industry, proving that empowering women is not a slogan, but an integrated national project, which enhances the stability of society and establishes Bahrain’s civilized identity.

How beautiful it is to celebrate the anniversary of the founding of this edifice, and we realize that the next carries more successes, and that the roof of Bahraini ambition does not stop at the borders of the earth, but rather touches the sky.
