Today, Wednesday, the Supreme Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs held a meeting to follow up preparations to open the registration for the Hajj season 1447 AH (2026 AD), and is scheduled to start on Wednesday, September 3 at nine in the morning, and will continue until midnight Tuesday, September 16, 2025, through the electronic key through the electronic pilgrimage platform Haj.gov.bh.
The Supreme Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs reviewed the ongoing updates on the electronic pilgrimage platform, which aims to simplify registration procedures and provide smoother services, as the platform, in addition to receiving requests for those wishing to perform the Hajj rituals, allows for the campaigns and inquires about the status of the request.
The Supreme Committee urged all those wishing to apply to perform the Hajj pilgrimage for the next season on the initiative first to register in the EKEY 2.0 electronic key, as well as updating their data in the national government notification system (notifications) available through the national portal of the Kingdom of Bahrain Bahrain.bh, in the event of any changes to it.
The Supreme Committee also stressed the need for the ID card to be valid for the applicant, with the possibility of adding four facilities within one request.
She stressed the approved campaigns to manage the completion of its services and its introductory file, allowing those wishing to see the nature of the services provided without entering into the details that are not approved at this stage.
With regard to the most prominent registration procedures, the Supreme Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs clarified that after the end of the specified registration period, those who meet the conditions will be notified of initial acceptance in accordance with the precedence criteria and priority between the registrants. Campaign will also be given a sufficient period to announce their packages and prices, and later set a date for the selection of the campaign.
