Today, Saturday, in the South Sinai Governorate, the first day of the exams for the second round of high school students in all its people will start: Scientific (Science and Sports) and Literary, with its modern and old regulations, within 6 committees distributed over the cities of: Tor Sinai, Sharm El -Sheikh, Ras Sidr, Dahab, Nuweiba, and Apordis.
Adel Atallah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in South Sinai, said in statements to “Cairo 24” that the exams begin today, Saturday, August 16, and will continue until the end of the month, amid tight security procedures inside and outside the headquarters of the committees, no less important than those that were applied in the first round exams.
He added that the numbers of students examined daily according to the article, noting that the number of students who perform chemistry, physics, mathematics, history, the Arabic language, and the English language varies.
Atallah explained that he directed the operation of the fans inside the classes, and the provision of cold water to students, especially in light of the high temperatures, in addition to emphasizing the prevention of entering mobile phones or headphones inside the committees, while assigning officials to the gates to search for students, and allocate women’s elements to inspect female students. He also stressed the importance of good treatment of students during exams.
The Undersecretary emphasized that any negligence or relaxation of the heads of the committees or observers in the performance of their duties, or the complaints of students against one of the observers, will be met with strict legal procedures.
Atallah made an appeal to the parents not to allow their children to take mobile phones into the committees, noting that if the phone is set, whether it is closed or open, the law will be applied with firmness.
He pointed out that the students of the modern and old systems today perform the Arabic language exam from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm, followed by the religious education exam from 12:30 until 2:00 pm.
