The start of the Egyptians ’vote on the round of the edition of the elders in several Arab, Asian and African countries

The polling committees for Egyptians abroad began their work this morning in a number of countries, including two Arab countries, the United Arab Emirates (the embassy in Abu Dhabi, the consulate in Dubai) and the Sultanate of Oman (the embassy in Muscat), along with Egyptian diplomatic headquarters in several Asian countries.

Egyptian embassies and consulates have opened their doors to voters in: Indonesia (Jakarta), Thailand (Bangkok), Vietnam (Hanoi), Myanmar (Bangon), Bangladesh (Dhaka), Nepal (Kathmandu), India (New Delhi and Mumbai), Sri Lanka (Collebo), Pakistan (Islamabad) (Tashkent), Kazakhstan (Astana), Azerbaijan (Baku), Armenia (Yerevan), and Mauritius (Port Lewis).

The voting process continues successively in the rest of the Egyptian electoral headquarters around the world according to the local time of each country, within the framework of the run -off of the Senate elections 2025 for the circles of Western, Ismailia, Beni Suef, Luxor and New Valley.

The Central Operations Room of the National Elections Authority continues the progress of the electoral process abroad, moment by moment. To ensure its regularity and overcoming any obstacles, reflecting the state’s keenness to enable Egyptians abroad to participate actively in constitutional benefits.

The run -off is in the governorates of Gharbia, Beni Suef, Luxor, Ismailia and the New Valley.
