The Honorable Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh of Al -Azhar Al -Sharif, received today, Wednesday, at the headquarters of Al -Azhar, the delegation of the ministers of endowments and the muftis and the heads of the Higher Islamic Councils, and representatives of the Islamic bodies, participating in the Egyptian Ifta Conference entitled “Industry of the Grand Mufti in the era of artificial intelligence”, in the presence of the Honorable Dr. Nazir Ayyad, Mufti of the Republic, and His Excellency Dr.
At the beginning of the meeting, the virtue of the Grand Imam welcomed the ministers, the muftis and the participating delegations, calling on the Lord – Glory be to Him – that scholars help discuss this important topic, and contribute to the use of artificial intelligence applications to serve the muftis and facilitate their work, with a moral charter that organizes the use of these technologies, in a way that preserves the dignity of man and protects its specificity.
The Sheikh of Al -Azhar stressed the necessity of confronting the systematic campaigns aimed at distorting the image of Islam and stigmatizing it with violence, which contributed to the escalation of the waves of fear of Islam and the hatred of Islam and Muslims, as a result of complete ignorance of its tolerant teachings and the message of peace that he carries, explaining that many Western thinkers who studied Islam a fair scientific study, have highlighted their true truth Islamic bodies in the West a double responsibility in revealing the falsehood of the false accounts of this true religion, noting that Al -Azhar is ready to provide all forms of support to Islamic centers in the West, based on its global mission and its keenness on the unity of Muslims in compliance with the Almighty saying:﴿ And they are in the rope of God.

His virtue continued that the religious and educational institutions in our Arab and Islamic world bears a religious and moral duty represented in the definition of the Palestinian issue and the history of Jerusalem, especially in light of the continuous brutal aggression in Gaza for nearly two years, denouncing the lack of knowledge of many people of the nation the most basic historical facts related to Palestine, calling for the development of an educational strategy in various countries of our Islamic world, aimed at raising the awareness of young people and youth On their history, especially Palestine, the consolidation of their pride in their Arab and Islamic identity, and to address attempts to falsify the history that others promote, and Al -Azhar is fully prepared to cooperate with all countries to develop this strategy that serves the nation’s awareness, thought and issues.
For their part, the ministers of endowments, the muftis and the heads of Islamic councils expressed their great happiness by meeting the virtue of the Grand Imam, and their deep appreciation for his great efforts in defending the issues of Islam and Muslims around the world, stressing that Al -Azhar Al -Sharif is the conscience of the nation and the Muslims of Muslims in different sects, and his positions always have welcome, praise and walk behind them, because of its great appreciation and confidence in all the world.
The international advisory delegation praised the efforts of Al -Azhar and the virtue of the Grand Imam in strengthening the unity of the Islamic class and confronting extremist ideas, stressing that Al -Azhar scientific and intellectual initiatives extend their positive effects to various parts of the world, and that it is the only institution capable of combining originality and contemporary in addressing the nation’s issues, because of the wide experience and history of more than a thousand years in spreading the sciences of Sharia and language And the export of trustworthy scientists to all parts of the world.
