Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Saudi Crown Prince, Prime Minister, received today, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, in the city of Neum, west of the Kingdom.
The Egyptian President’s visit came in response to a generous invitation from the Crown Prince, as the Egyptian presidency affirmed that the meeting embodies the depth of the established historical relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the keenness of the leaders of the two brotherly countries to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields, in addition to the continued consultation and coordination regarding regional and international issues of common concern.
The spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, Ambassador Mohamed El -Shennawi, explained that the two leaders will hold an extensive discussion session to discuss ways to develop the strategic partnership, in order to achieve the common interests of the two brotherly peoples, and enhance the development and prosperity process in the two countries.
He added that the talks will address the developments of the situation in the region, foremost of which are the developments of the war in the Gaza Strip, in addition to the files related to Lebanon, Syria, Sudan, Libya and Yemen, as well as the Red Sea security file and the related challenges.
This visit comes within the framework of the strong fraternal relations between Riyadh and Cairo, and the unity of fate and the common vision in supporting stability and development in the region.
