The Public Prosecution launched, through the Criminal Information Center, “Awareness”, an awareness film that illuminates the seriousness of the crime of tax evasion and the negative effects of the state’s economy. Stressing that tax evasion is not intelligent, but rather a crime punishable by law. She emphasized that the tax commitment is a legal duty that all tax individuals and companies are committed to. At the same time, it is a joint societal responsibility that contributes to protecting the national economy and consolidating the values of integrity and transparency. She pointed out that Article (25) of the Decree of a Federal Law No. (28) of 2022 regarding tax procedures stipulated that whoever deliberately pays the tax or manipulation of revenues, is subject to the penalty of imprisonment and the fine that does not
