The Public Investment and Free Zones Authority is looking to enhance investment cooperation with the government of Vietnam

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the competitive advantages enjoyed by the investment environment in the two countries, and the executive vice president of the authority pointed out the importance of strengthening investment relations between the two countries, after the first factory of 100% Vietnamese investments in Egypt was established last year, which opens the door to the flow of new Vietnamese investments to the Egyptian market, especially in the priority sectors according to the development plans of the two countries, which are the textile and ready -made clothes industry, home appliances, and home appliances, Electric cars, and the petrochemical industry.

Yasser Abbas called on the Vietnamese side to explore investment opportunities and get to know the incentives and guarantees of investment on the ground, especially after what was achieved by the Egyptian government from the radical changes at all economic, legislative and construction levels, which contributed to its ranking ninth in the list of the world’s most receiving foreign investments last year last year.

For his part, Tran Cook Fung, Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Finance, praised the Egyptian government’s keenness to create an attractive investment climate, and the diversity of investment systems between free, investment, technological and internal investment, in addition to granting a variety of tax and non -tax incentives to suit the real needs of production operations in each sector.
