Today, Wednesday, the sub -nursing union in the New Valley Governorate led an expanded control campaign that resulted in the closure of 3 institutes that teach nursing curricula without a license from the ministries of higher education and health, after urgent investigations and field reviews to adhere to legal controls.
Control institutes that study nursing without a license
Dr. Manal Muslim, the head of the nursing captain in the new valley, explained that the union received information stating that there are institutes that teach nursing without a license, and the facts were verified on the ground to show the presence of 3 educational entities inside the city of Kharga, which only obtained approvals from education to teach computer and languages, not nursing that requires official approvals from higher education and health.
After that, a joint campaign that ended in the closure of these institutes was organized and a detailed memorandum was submitted to Major General Dr. Muhammad Al -Zamlout, the governor of the New Valley, to take what is necessary.
According to the union, the closure included the first institute in the Al -Basatin area, the second in the Dakhla Da’i neighborhood, and the third on Gamal Abdel Nasser Street in the city of Kharga.
The presence of about 500 male and female students was also monitored inside these institutes who paid expenses of approximately 5 thousand pounds for the one -semester, which necessitated the immediate notification of families that the illegality of studying these entities, and that they are not institutionalized by the Ministry of Health or Higher Education.
The Nursing Syndicate in the New Valley stressed that joining any study related to nursing should be through licensed and accredited institutions, stressing that the unnoticed entity, no matter how carried from the names of an “institute” or “academic”, does not allow its graduates the right to registration in the union or obtaining the profession later.
Families appealed to verify the license and accreditation before paying any expenses, and to return to the pages of the relevant ministries and the lists of accredited institutions.
