The results of the drug analysis of the driver of the tourist bus that were subjected to a coup accident on the Abu Zenima road, and a Russian tourist, as well as the injury of 43 others, had a negative sample, and that it was not used by any narcotic substances.
This comes at a time when the Russian Consul in Sharm El -Sheikh confirmed that all the injured are stable and receive the necessary treatment, noting that the Russian embassy took over the body of the deceased tourist to transfer it to its country.
Details of the accident and investigations
During the investigations, the driver stated that he was surprised by the exit of a car from one of the sub -roads, which led him to try to avoid it, which led to the coup of the bus.
Dr. Ahmed Al -Samri, the Russian Consul in Sharm El -Sheikh, explained that the injured are receiving great attention from health officials, and that 17 injured are still receiving treatment at the Al -Fayrouz Complex Hospital in the city of Tor Sinai, while 22 injured people left the Abu Radis Central Hospital after they recover, and they returned to their residence hotels in Sharm El -Sheikh to complete their tourism programs.
Surgery was performed for 3 tourists in Sharm El -Sheikh International Hospital, in addition to surgery for a injured person in Ras Sidr General Hospital.
Rescue and ambulance efforts:
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in South Sinai moved to the hospital to follow up the cases of the injured, as the medical team made great efforts to save the cases, and to enter an urgent case to the operating room for the abdomen, in addition to performing plastic surgery for some other cases.
A report of the incident was edited and the investigation authorities were notified in Ras Sidr to initiate the investigation of the causes of the bus’s coup.
