Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Sports, Mohamed Salama, Acting President of the Alexandria Club, met to discuss the developments of the development work that took place in the new headquarters of the Alexandria Club, which was created to accommodate more members of the club and also the creation of many sports stadiums to achieve and meet the requirements of members.

The Minister of Sports explained that, according to the ministry’s policy, to stand beside Egypt’s clubs and support them to achieve stability for them, so we were keen to meet the Acting President of Al -Ittihad, “Syed Al -Balad”.
Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Sports, explained that he will not hesitate to provide all support to the Alexandrian Club in line with the legal frameworks.
Today, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, witnessed the Arab Judo Clubs Championship competitions, held during the period from 8 to 12 August, in the hall covered by Burj Al Arab in Alexandria.
The Arab Judo Club Championship is held with the participation of 49 clubs representing 11 Arab countries, namely Saudi Arabia, Emirates, Kuwait, Jordan, Qatar, Algeria, Libya, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, in addition to Egypt, the host country.
The activities were attended by Mohamed Mutee, President of the Egyptian Judo, ICIDO, Sumo, and Vice President of the Arab Judo Federation, as well as a number of leaders of Arab sports federations.
In his speech, the Minister of Sports expressed his happiness at hosting Egypt to this great Arab sporting event, stressing that organizing international and regional championships on the land of Egypt reflects the confidence of international and Arab sports federations in the Egyptian infrastructure and sports facilities, noting that the tournament represents an opportunity to enhance sports and popular relations between Arab countries, and develop the level of players in the Judo game.
The Minister of Sports affirmed the Ministry’s keenness to support national sports federations, and to provide all the necessary facilities to host continental and international championships, in a way that contributes to the consolidation of Egypt’s position as a pioneering regional center for major sporting events.
