Hundreds of the body of the late journalist, Broen Nasrallah, spread to its last resting place in the Muharraq Cemetery, yesterday evening.
Journalist Broen Nasrallah was born in the city of Muharraq, where her career started in the Gulf News Agency, before moving to the newspaper “News of the Gulf”, to become one of the most prominent press figures in Bahrain. Her journalistic career began in 1988, and she was one of the first founders of the Bahraini Journalists Association, devoting its efforts to achieving the goals of the press and communicating the voice of society to the concerned authorities and decision makers.
And Bruin was famous, according to her fellow journalists, for its bold and direct style, as she was not hesitant to confront officials and ask difficult questions. It was distinguished by its skill in reaching reliable sources and submitting accurate and objective reports. Its work was not limited to the office press only, but also extended to field work, as it prepared investigations that highlight the issues of women and needy groups, committed throughout her career for honesty and professional integrity.
Nasrallah departed from our world after a struggle with the disease, and the Association of Journalists and the Bahraini Journalist Medium called it.
