Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim, Governor of Qena, handed over work contracts to 10 of the first graduates of the dual education and training classes at the Drinking Water and Sewerage School for the year 2025, with 5 technicians for networks and water stations, and 5 technicians for networks and sewage stations.

Engineer Rajab Arafa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Drinking Water and Sewerage Company in Qena, explained that the establishment of the classes of drinking water and sanitation school contributed to the graduation of technicians with a high degree of efficiency and expertise in the areas of operation and maintenance, qualifying to deal with the latest technological systems in water and sanitation stations, in order to ensure the preservation of huge investments in this sector and the advancement of the quality of service provided to citizens.
He pointed out that the current payment includes 55 students, which will all be appointed by contracting with the Drinking Water and Sewerage Company in Qena.
For his part, the governor of Qena congratulated the students on their graduation and obtaining work contracts at the Holding Company in the jobs of technicians, stations and networks of drinking water and sewage, calling them to continue their scientific career to enroll in university education, and wish them continued success in their practical and scientific lives.
The governor affirmed that the classroom education and training classes for the School of Drinking Water and Sanitation provided a role model among technical education schools in the governorate, because of its distinguished levels in the study and scientific excellence.
