The Egyptian Football Association, headed by Hani Abu Raida, mourned the father Mohammed Al -Shennawi Al -Ahly goalkeeper and the Egyptian team, who passed away today, Tuesday, following a tragic accident in October 6.

The Football Association said in an official statement: Engineer Hani Abu Raida, President of the Egyptian Football Association, members of the Federation’s Board of Directors, Executive Director, Technical Devices of the teams and all workers of sincere condolences and sympathy to Captain Mohamed El -Shennawi, the goalkeeper of the national team and Al -Ahly club, on the death of the late God, calling on his father, calling on the Lord Almighty to bless him with his mercy, and to live in his family Patience and solace. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.
For his part, Al -Ahly’s board of directors mourned the father of Mohamed El -Shennawi, a goalkeeper and captain of the first team, after the death of his father after a tragic accident, on the Al -Wahat road.
Al -Ahly said in an official statement: Captain Mahmoud Al -Khatib, head of Al -Ahly Club, and the members of the Board of Directors, the executive administration, and sports sectors, mourned with great sadness and sorrow, the father of Captain Mohamed El -Shennawi, captain of the club’s first football team, who passed away today after a tragic accident, calling on the Almighty to shroud the deceased with the mercy of his mercy and enter his vast gardens, and to inspire the generous family.
Earlier, Mohamed El -Shennawi, Al -Ahly and Egypt’s goalkeeper, went to a 6th of October city hospital, in order to end all the papers and procedures for receiving and buried the body of his father, who died shortly ago.
