US President Donald Trump, in an interview with the President of the International Football Association, Gianni Infantino, at the White House, said that the FIFA World Cup will generate more than $ 30 billion in the US economy.

The upcoming FIFA World Cup will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico, and starts from June 11 to July 19, 2026, and the expanded championship includes 104 games instead of 64 as it was previously, including an additional defeated exit phase.
Earlier, Trump stated that political and economic tensions between the three countries hosting the FIFA World Cup will add more excitement to the tournament.
Trump explained that the work team that will head it will coordinate with the federal agencies in planning, organizing and implementing the world championship, which includes 48 teams.
