Dr. Amal Imam, Executive Director of the Egyptian Red Crescent, visited the General Court of North Sinai Governorate, where the governor met Major General Khaled Mujawar, and discussed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the governorate and the Egyptian Red Crescent in facilitating work and the efforts of the Egyptian Red Crescent as a national mechanism to coordinate the entry of aid to the Gaza Strip.
The Executive Director of the Egyptian Red Crescent appreciated the efforts of North Sinai Governorate in supporting the efforts of the relief and humanitarian work of the Egyptian Red Crescent in the governorate as it is the ovalization station for the flow of aid to the Gaza Strip, praising the good coordination and facilities provided by the executive agencies in the governorate, which contribute to accelerating and facilitating the performance of humanitarian and relief tasks in an optimal way.

For his part, Major General Khaled Mujawar, Governor of North Sinai, stressed the importance of the great national and humanitarian role played by the Egyptian Red Crescent, appreciating its continuous efforts since the start of the crisis in providing the necessary assistance to Gaza, as well as its role in serving the Sinai community and supporting the people through medical convoys and community development projects.
The Executive Director of the Egyptian Crescent also inspected the logistical and customs centers designated for preparing aid to Gaza in the city of Al -Arish, in addition to the food supply and automated bakery center inside the human kitchen, which is entrusted with preparing fresh bread to Gaza, to follow up the progress of work and determine the readiness of all centers, valid the efforts of volunteers and bakery workers in the production of thousands of bags of bread with the finest standards Daily.
Imam, in the early morning, continued the work of the teams entrusted to preparing the trucks that are troops to Gaza, whose work continues from two in the morning until the afternoon of the second day, inspecting the trucks to promote the trucks to the Karam Abu Salem crossing.
