Counselor Mahmoud Fawzi, Minister of Parliamentary and Legal Affairs and Political Communication, said that the general atmosphere surrounding the Senate elections 2025 reflects a large logistical and organizational support, which allowed the voters to participate in a safe and transparent atmosphere, and created a sound democratic climate that contributed to enhancing the demand for ballot boxes.
Fawzi: The citizen has become more able to distinguish between the candidates
Fawzi added, in televised comments, that through his accurate follow -up to the scene, he touched a high state of political awareness and democratic maturity among the Egyptian citizen, who has become more able to distinguish between candidates and evaluate their programs, away from traditional slogans or repeated promises.
The Minister of Parliamentary and Legal Affairs and political communication pointed out that the propaganda means have evolved greatly, and the campaigns through social media are the fastest influencing, especially in light of the entry of new young age groups into the voter database, as it became easy for the citizen to follow the background of each candidate and his previous positions.
Fawzi stressed that the challenges of the Egyptian state at the internal and external levels, especially in light of regional tensions and the stability of the Egyptian position towards issues such as the Palestinian issue, prompted citizens to further link to public affairs and ensure political participation, given that the elections reflect a message of support for the Egyptian state in the face of these challenges.
In another axis, Fawzi praised the golden age of Egyptian women, stressing that what women achieve today is a direct result of supporting the political leadership, led by President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, who considered empowering women a national priority.
The Minister of Parliamentary, Legal Affairs and Political Communication explained that the representation of women in the Senate by up to 10% (about 30 women), and their presence in leadership positions in the country, from ministries, judiciary, police and armed forces, is a reflection of the success of national policies in removing obstacles that were previously hindering their way.
Fawzi pointed out that President Sisi supports women from ethical, economic and social foundations, as they are a pivotal element in the family and society, calling on Egyptian women to continue playing their pivotal role in instilling the values of belonging and national awareness of new generations.
Fawzi concluded his speech by emphasizing that Egyptian women have proven their efficiency in all locations, noting that the future carries more gains and opportunities, thanks to the supportive climate of the state, and the laws that allow them to progress and active participation in public life.
