The technical staff of the Egyptian U -17 junior team, led by Ahmed Al -Kass, announced the formation of his team for the friendly Saudi match, which will be held this evening on the latter’s soil, as part of the preparations of the two teams to participate in the Gulf Cup for Youth Teams, which will be held in the city of Abha, Saudi Arabia during the period from August 28 to September 9.

The formation of the junior team to confront Saudi friendly came as follows:
Goalkeeper Omar Abdel Aziz – Hamza Al -Dajawi – Muhammad Al -Bandari – Adham Farid – Muhannad Al -Shami – Basil Medhat – Omar Kamal – Muhammad Hamad – Bilal Attia – Ibrahim Al -Najawi – Hamza Abdel Karim.
The junior team is scheduled to meet in a second friendly with the Saudi national team next Sunday.
The Egyptian team for the junior will play the Gulf Cup competitions in the second group, which includes the teams of Iraq, Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman.
The expected participation of the youth team in the Gulf Cup championship comes as part of the preparations of the young Pharaohs to compete in the World Cup for Junior Cups that will be held in Qatar during the period from 3 to 27 November.
The junior team will participate in the World Cup in the third group, which includes the teams of Venezuela, Haiti and England.
