The river rescue teams in Luxor Governorate, until the early hours of Tuesday morning, continued the search for the body of the young Kyrillos Emad Zakaria (19 years) from the city of Armant Al -Waporat, who was killed in the Nile River in Esna yesterday evening, while maintaining a bickens.
Details of the accident
The young man was working in the profession of discussion on the boat, and while he was carrying out maintenance tasks, he slipped in the waters of the Nile, to lose control and disappear from view, amid urgent attempts by his colleagues to save him to no avail.


Urgent security response
The security services moved to the accident site led by Major General Mohamed Refaat, Assistant Director of Luxor Security, Lt. Col. Mohamed Maher, Deputy Commissioner of the Esna Police Station, Lt. Col. Muhammad Al -Maraghi, Head of the Center’s Investigations, and a number of detectives, in addition to Major Abdul Hamid Habib, Head of the Civil Protection Department, and Captain Ahmed Al -Baz, Head of the Department of Water Boards and River Rescue.

Intensive efforts to find the body
The Luxor Security Directorate pushed the river rescue teams, which continue to comb and search inside the Nile water in the hope of recovering the victim’s body, while the necessary legal measures are taken regarding the incident.
