The central bank launches the GP15 program to develop future leaders of the graduates

The Central Bank of Bahrain announced the launch of the first version of the university graduate development program “GP15”, which aims to qualify future leaders, refine its skills, and enable them to compete regionally and globally, to consolidate the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain as a vital financial center that supports the sustainable development goals of the national economy.

The launch of this program comes in line with the bank’s priorities, which focuses on promoting innovation and digital transformation and developing promising human cadres, as the program aims to qualify 15 graduates of young competencies to meet the needs of the market, by providing an integrated training environment that keeps pace with global trends in the financial services sector.

For his part, the Executive Director of Administrative Services at the Central Bank of Bahrain, Mohamed Abdel Karim, said: “This program was designed to give the participants a unique experience that goes beyond the traditional framework for training, as it combines qualitative practical training based on projects and realistic simulation of the work environment, in addition to its inclusion in indicative sessions and field visits. This initiative reflects the extent of the bank’s keenness to develop and develop young generations through Merging advanced technologies and innovative practices to design a qualitative and rewarding practical training methodology.

For its part, the director of human resources and the director of the program, Fatima Mohamed Ali, stated that the program “provides for a period of 6 months a comprehensive experience that includes practical training with the departments of the various Central Bank of Bahrain, in addition to the opportunities for participation in financial conferences and events, and engaging within professional projects and challenges to enhance the analytical and innovative participants’ capabilities.
