The officers of the Bandar Luxor Investigation Unit found, this evening, Saturday, the body of the 5 -year -old child, Youssef Saeed, drowned in the western Al -Qabah canal, after a full day of his absence from his family’s home.
Investigations: No criminal suspicion behind the accident
Initial investigations revealed that the child, Waheed, his parents, was on a visit with his mother to her family in the western Al -Qabahi area, and Lilhi went out with the children in the street yesterday evening, before he disappeared after sunset.
By reviewing the surveillance cameras in the vicinity of the region, it was found that Youssef went to the canal at the end of the street and fell in it, before the divers team was able to retrieve his body and transfer him to the morgue of Al -Karnak International Hospital in Luxor.
Investigations confirmed that there was no criminal suspicion in the accident, while a report of the incident was issued, and the competent authorities were notified to conduct investigations.
