The Board of Directors of the Bahrain Basketball Federation approved the resignation submitted by Mr. Alaa Madara from his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors, for his own reasons.
In light of this, the Board of Directors decided to open the door for candidacy for the position of Chairman of the Federation’s Board of Directors, according to what is stipulated in Article (46) of the unified regulations for sports federations in the Kingdom of Bahrain, where applications for candidacy will be received in the General Secretariat during the specified period, provided that the list of candidates who met the conditions of candidacy in the Federation’s statute will be announced later.
On September 8th, the council also set a date for the extraordinary general assembly, which will witness the election of a new president of the union, as a commitment to the regulations and regulations in force.
The Board of Directors of the Bahrain Basketball Federation renewed his thanks and appreciation to Mr. Madar for the stage he spent in the presidency of the Federation, wishing him success and payment in his future life.
The Board of Directors affirmed its keenness on the administrative and technical work of the union regularly during the transitional period, ensuring the continuation of the programs and activities supervised by the Federation.
