The Ministry of Interior announced that within the framework of the continuous security efforts made by the Drug Control Department of the General Administration of Investigations and Forensic Evidence to protect society from the drug scourge, the administration managed in two separate facts to arrest 3 people in possession of about 3 kilos and 600 grams of narcotic substances, valued at more than 15 thousand dinars.
The administration indicated that immediately after receiving information about the two facts, the research and investigation work and the collection of information and evidence that resulted in identifying the accused and seizing them were carried out with the possession of narcotic substances.
The Criminal Information Division of the General Administration of Investigations and Criminal Evidence indicated that the necessary legal measures have been taken, and the two cases were referred to the Public Prosecution, confirming the continued activation of the community partnership with various bodies and groups in the field of awareness of the dangers of drugs, calling on citizens and residents to cooperate with the security authorities by reporting any information related to smuggling or drug promotion activities through the hotline (996) or operating room Home (999) or via email protected, with emphasis on complete confidentiality of information.
