The sub -library of the sub -library of the Fayoum Culture Branch headed by Yasmine Diaa organized a training workshop to teach sign language, which was implemented by Amal Abdel Rahman, a sign language teacher with the aim of teaching the participants the basics of sign language and educating the community about the culture of deaf and communicating with them.

She dealt with an introductory introduction about the importance of sign language and teaching beginnings of sign language, as she indicated the importance of sign language because it is in every home and in every village, street, city and every institution, whether public sector or a private sector, and she talked about her personal experience and said I learned the sign language for my daughter I was finding difficulty in its beginning, but the motivation and motivation was to know how my daughter thinks and how I deal with her about all matters.
For his part, the director of the library praised the importance of the workshop, commenting that it is no less important than the rest of the activities, calling for the necessity of a signal translator in libraries, houses and cultures of culture that helps spread culture and knowledge based on the state’s decisions towards those with needs to provide a sign translator in each sector, whether public or private, and the workshop will continue until the end of the summer vacation.
