The board of directors of the Egyptian Tennis Tennis, headed by Ashraf Helmy, held an emergency meeting yesterday evening, at the headquarters of the Egyptian Federation at the Sports Federation Building at the Cairo International Stadium.
Table tennis union accepts the resignation of the vice president and the secretary of the fund
During the meeting, the Council discussed the resignation submitted by Khaled Al -Hafni, Vice President of the Federation, and Mahmoud Abaza, the treasurer, and after reviewing the reasons for the resignation and studying the situation, the Board of Directors decided to accept the resignation after responding to the reasons.
The Federation’s Board of Directors also decided to send a response to the reasons provided for resignation to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Egyptian Olympic Committee, in order to transparently and prove that these reasons are not real, but rather aiming to raise differences within the union.
Unusual, the two resigned applied to postpone the decision in their resignations, and then opposed the decision to accept it after the end of the session, despite the passage of more than a month to submit it, which makes the acceptance decision confirmed and final.
The Council affirmed that this decision aims to restore stability and calm within the Egyptian table tennis family, in a way that contributes to the continuation of the work process, after removing everyone who raises problems and disrupts the Federation’s march.
The meeting was attended by members of the Board of Directors, Ashraf Abdel -Fattah, Amr Fahmy and Walid Mahmoud, along with Dr. Alaa Musharraf, Vice President of the International Tennis Tennis Federation in his international capacity.
The meeting was also attended by Heba Hamed, a member of the Egyptian Board of Directors, from its inception, before she asked for special circumstances.
The Egyptian Tennis Tennis Federation confirms its keenness to continue working during the next stage to support clubs and players and enhance Egypt’s position in various continental and international championships.
