The General Administration of Sunni Endowments, and in cooperation with the General Administration of Civil Defense, concludes a training program entitled: “The basics of first aid, evacuation, security, safety and the use of fire extinguishers”
The General Administration of Sunni Endowments, in cooperation with the General Administration of Civil Defense, concluded a training program entitled: “The basics of first aid, evacuation, security, safety and the use of fire extinguishers”, which included the owners of religious jobs from imams and muezzins, with the participation of more than 350 trainees in the various governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the context of the administration’s endeavor to enhance preventive awareness and spread the culture of security and safety in the homes of God.
On this occasion, Mr. Ahmed Khalil Khairi, Director of the General Administration of Sunni Endowments, stressed that organizing such courses and in cooperation with the General Administration of Civil Defense comes as an embodiment of the administration’s keenness to develop the skills of imams and muezzins in the practical aspects related to public safety, in addition to their religious and awareness role in preserving property and lives, indicating that the course aims to win the participants knowledge and ability to behave properly when happening Accidents, God forbid, rapid dealing with emergency injuries, applying best practices in evacuation and rescue, as well as training them in optimal use of fire and adhering to security and safety standards.
Khairi added that these training programs come within the plans and programs drawn by the Sunni Endowments Council in consolidating the culture of preventive awareness within mosques and mosques in the various governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and protecting lives and property, explaining that the General Administration of Sunni Endowments is continuing to organize such initiatives periodically and in cooperation with the competent authorities, accompanied by the Kingdom’s vision in promoting community safety.
The course included several extensive practical and awareness axes on how to deal with emergency accidents, sudden injuries, safe evacuation mechanisms, training in the use of fire control equipment, ensuring the lifting of the readiness of imams and muezzins to deal with any emergency, and enhance their security and safety capabilities. The event was held in two phases, where it was held in the first stage on Monday in the case of Boumahir in the Muharraq Governorate, and the imams and muezzins participated in mosques and mosques of the governorates of the capital and Muharraq, while the Sheikhn hall in Boukoura area in the southern governorate hosted the second stage on Wednesday, which was devoted to mosques and mosques of the southern and northern governorates.
At the end of the session, the participants from religious jobs, including muezzins and imams, expressed their appreciation and thanks to the General Department of Sunni Endowments for the organization of such various programs and the practical and practical information that it contains, stressing that it contributes to raising their efficiency and enhancing their capabilities in dealing with various emergency situations, and reflects positively on their functional performance and their role in society.
