In the context of continuing to strengthen the social protection system and perpetuate the principle of integration between the concerned national bodies, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, the Ministry of Social Development, the Supreme Council for Women and the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, today signed a unified memorandum of understanding with the aim of coordinating and unifying national efforts to meet the needs of Bahraini women in humanitarian cases. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of the Minister of Social Development, Osama Al -Alawi, the Secretary -General of the Supreme Council for Women, Lulwa Al -Awadi, the Undersecretary of the Courts and the Family Car -Second and the alimony at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Dana Al -Zayani, Deputy Head of Public Security at the Ministry of Interior, Major General Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Khalifa, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development Ziad Darwish, and the Assistant Secretary -General for Planning and Charitable Resources Development at the Royal Institution for Humanitarian Works Al -Yaqoub, along with a number of officials from the participating authorities, at the Mubarak Jassim Kano Center, the comprehensive social social area. On this occasion, the Minister of Social Development stressed that the initiative comes a translation of the visions and aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and embodying the support that Her Royal Highness Princess Khalifa Quraina Al -Balad, the President of the Supreme Council for Women, to continue to strengthen the progress of Bahraini women. On their part, the Secretary -General of the Supreme Council for Women confirmed that on the basis of the jurisdiction of the Council and to activate the national strategy for the advancement of Bahraini women, which came between the initiative to coordinate national efforts to meet the needs of Bahraini women in emergency cases. She pointed to the continuous support and attention that Bahraini women receive in a way that establishes their role as a basic partner in supplying the comprehensive development march goals led by His Majesty the King of the country, and the directives of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, pointing to the efforts of Her Royal Highness the wife of the country’s great monarch, President of the Supreme Council of Women in supporting the supportive initiatives of women, including this initiative, and expressed their sincere appreciation Participation in the Memorandum of Understanding with the aim of coordinating and unifying the efforts provided by government ministries and official institutions, facilitating the needs of the affected Bahraini women, and investing all national efforts and services provided by the relevant institutions in the Kingdom within their competencies. The Deputy Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Adel Al -Fadil, praised the support of the first team, Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior for initiatives that aim to continue to promote Bahraini women’s progress in general, and in the security and service sectors of the Ministry of Interior in particular, Noting at the same time the importance of coordinating national efforts to meet the needs of Bahraini women in humanitarian cases, within the framework of working to enhance societal values in a way that contributes to achieving a safe societal environment. He explained that the signing of the Ministry of Interior on the Memorandum of Understanding in this regard came in implementation of the instructions of His Excellency the Minister of the Interior to adopt qualitative initiatives and projects, which aim to strengthen the societal system. In its aspect, the Undersecretary of the Courts and Family Carvage and alimony at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments stressed the importance of effective coordination between the institutional frameworks in enhancing the level of rapid response to women’s needs in humanitarian cases. She praised this initiative by signing the agreement between the concerned authorities, in a way that contributes to unifying and integrating efforts in accordance with the specializations of each party, and provides more efficient mechanisms in dealing with women’s conditions in emergency cases and providing immediate support to them. It is worth noting that the memorandum of understanding has previously signed a series of consultative and coordination meetings between the concerned authorities, namely the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, the Ministry of Social Development, the Supreme Council for Women, and the Royal Humanitarian Foundation. Where the memorandum aims to invest and coordinate the national efforts and services provided by the ministries and institutions concerned, within their competencies, to provide material and in -kind support to meet the needs of Bahraini women.
