In his first appearance after the tragic accident, the father of the young Hossam Hassan, the victim of fireworks explosion during the artist Mohamed Ramadan’s concert, expressed his deep sorrow for the loss of his son, calling for holding accountable those responsible for the neglect that led to his death.
Hossam’s father said, in exclusive statements to Cairo 24:
“My son was calm and respectful, and everyone attests to his morals … Sindi was in the world and he loved his work very much, and he would go to travel to start a new future.”
He added: “I received the news that Hossam embraced the tube to not explode in the people, and sacrificed himself to save the attendees … My son was a man and bearing responsibility from him while he was young.”
He continued with a voice of sadness: “I am demanding that all the negligent people be held accountable and those who cause the death of my son, and my son will not return, but at least I want his right to be lost.”
He sent a message to the artist Mohamed Ramadan, saying: “I ask the artist Mohamed Ramadan to contribute to the return of Hossam’s right, because what happened was in his concert, and there is no need to compensate me for the loss of my son.”
The 23 -year -old, the young Hossam Hassan, was killed after he was injured during the preparations of the Mohamed Ramadan party, after a gas cylinder or a fireworks device – according to the initial inspection – was killed, which resulted in severe injuries that claimed his life, amid widespread demands to hold the minors accountable.
