Not everyone who enters the hospital is ill in the eyes of the law, some of them carry a crime in his portfolio in the form of a card that does not belong to it, as the use of the identity card for another person has become the aim of receiving treatment an issue that exceeds the limits of individual error to touch the limits of forgery, fraud and violation of the law, and although this type of behavior is made silently and without noise, its legal effect may be loud before the courts.

Depending on this, the use of an ID card for another person to receive treatment is an illegal behavior, and it explicitly violates the provisions of the Bahraini Penal Code and the ID card law, which is an act that arranges criminal responsibility for those who used the card as well

Which prompted the Bahraini legislator to criminalize these actions, according to Article (10) of Law No. 46 of 2006 regarding the ID card, which stipulated that “imprisonment is punished for a period not exceeding five years of fornication of the ID card, deleting or modifying one of its contents, or using a forged identity card with his knowledge of its forgery. He shall be punished with the same penalty.

And to extract the foregoing that the Bahraini law was clear and strict in criminalizing this act to protect the system of services from tampering and ensuring that the use of identities is not misused under any pretext, and that participation in the way of agreement and assistance with others in the felony of uselessness has the right to a correct identity card in the name of another person to receive treatment is not humanitarian, but a silent crime that carries complete pillars for criminalization and punishment

Therefore, awareness of this crime is not only a legal duty, but a societal responsibility that we all must bear.
