Sharjah University launches a leading academic program that integrates cultural heritage with contemporary practices of museums and exhibitions in a step that reflects its renewed commitment to preserving cultural heritage and promoting creative industries, Sharjah University announced the launch of the Bachelor of Fine Arts Program in the history of art and museum studies, and the study is scheduled to start from the fall season 2025, under the umbrella of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design. This program is the first of its kind in the UAE, as it combines the study of the history of art and modern museum practices, and is presented in cooperation between the Department of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, and the Department of History and Islamic Civilization at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences
