In the context of the efforts of the continuous efforts of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (Siwa) to implement the data governance framework effectively, the authority represented by the Department of Institutional Governance, Risk Management and Compliance organized a number of workshops and awareness -raising sessions on data classification and the implementation of a project to prevent data leakage, in which a large number of employees and specialists participated in dealing with data in the authority. The sessions focused on the importance of protecting and managing information assets effectively, and the benefits of an organized framework can be highlighted through which to monitor, track and protect institutional data, ensuring commitment to the requirements of local legislative bodies and is compatible with the best global practices.
