The Nasser Supply Administration in Beni Suef Governorate, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Mohamed Hani Ghoneim, Governor of Beni Suef, in coordination with the local unit headed by Shawky Hashem, launched extensive regulatory campaigns on markets, shops and bakeries, within the governorate’s plan to control the markets, protect the health and safety of citizens, and to address attempts to trade and tampering with commodities.
During the campaign, which roamed a number of regions and markets, the supervisory teams managed to control multiple ration violations, which included unknown goods without documents or bills proving their legitimacy, not to announce the prescribed prices, and carry out a commercial activity without obtaining the necessary licenses.
The campaign also resulted in the seizure of a ton of rice, a homeland of dairy that is not suitable for human consumption, where the seized quantities were seized, and urgent legal measures were taken against violators, in preparation for their presentation to the competent prosecution.
The catering officials emphasized that the regulatory campaigns will continue over the coming days suddenly and at different times, to ensure the commitment of merchants to the laws regulating, maintaining the stability of the markets and preventing the circulation of corrupt or unknown goods, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership and the keenness of preserving the health of citizens.
