The Chairman of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives, MP Ahmed Al -Salloum, praised the great efforts made by the Ministry of Education led by Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak Jumaa, in developing education in the Kingdom of Bahrain and launching qualitative initiatives that contributed to upgrading the curricula, adopting digital transformation paths, and upgrading the infrastructure of government schools to keep pace with the aspirations of comprehensive development.
Al -Salloum said that what distinguishes these efforts is the success in bringing the Bahraini cadres in various educational and administrative sites, which reflects the Ministry’s commitment to enabling the national element and giving it priority, and confirms the ability of Bahraini competencies to lead the educational process efficiently and competently, in complete harmony with national trends in the field of human development.
Al -Salloum added that the ministry’s success in this field reflects an integrated strategic vision that enhances the sustainability of education in the Kingdom, and establishes its role as a pivotal tool to prepare generations capable of competition and active participation in the national development process.
In a related context, Al -Salloum praised the generous directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy His Majesty the Crown Prince, to establish an introductory day in government schools for parents, through which members of educational and administrative bodies provide an integrated explanation of the new academic year, noting that this directive reflects the leadership’s keenness to enhance the partnership between the home and the school, and establish constructive communication with the parents Create an educational environment that stimulates excellence and excellence.
Al -Salloum also praised the comprehensive preparations taken by the Ministry of Education for the launch of the new academic year after a week, pointing to the efforts made by the ministry to prepare schools, provide educational and administrative cadres, and ensure the readiness of infrastructure and modern educational means, in a strong start for the academic year and enhances the quality of the educational process.
Al -Salloum pointed out that the Ministry of Education has completed in recent years a comprehensive development of the curricula in line with international quality standards, with the introduction of the skills of the twenty -first century and the enhancement of the components of digital education, in a way that prepares students to acquire the modern skills required by the labor market.
He also pointed out that the ministry succeeded in expanding educational infrastructure projects, by building and maintaining a number of modern schools and providing them with the latest facilities and equipment, as well as the launch of advanced training programs for Bahraini teachers, which contributed to raising their professional competence and ensuring the quality of educational outputs.
Al -Salloum concluded his statement by emphasizing that the House of Representatives supports all the initiatives and programs implemented by the Ministry of Education, believing in the role of education as a basic pillar in the reform project of His Majesty the Great King, and a real guarantee to achieve Bahrain’s economic and development vision
