The Environment Authority – Abu Dhabi announced the results of its research cooperation with the Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, to study the behavior of the population in home waste management, as part of a comprehensive awareness campaign that the authority intends to launch and aims to reduce waste and enhance positive environmental practices. This research, entitled “Social visions about household waste in Abu Dhabi: formulating effective behavioral directives”, is the first stage of an awareness campaign that the authority is preparing to launch, which aims to reduce home waste production and increase the rate of recycling in homes. The research included a comprehensive review of the most prominent successful waste management strategies in the world, in addition to implementing a wide in -depth social study
