President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi met today, with Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Ahmed Al -Muslimani, Chairman of the National Media Authority, and Major General Mohsen Abdel Nabi, Advisor to the President of the Republic.
President Sisi directs the protection of Maspero’s heritage
The spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that during the meeting, the President directed the need to protect and preserve the heritage of Egyptian radio and television, by converting all radio and television tapes of the authority into digital media, and investing this content within the digital platform to be established in the National Media Authority.
Ambassador Mohamed El -Shennawi, the official spokesman, added that the president also directed the move forward in preparing the global site for broadcasting the Holy Quran, in order to memorize the heritage of readers and arrogance, and to protect the numerous programs that have been punished on broadcasting the Holy Quran since its foundation in 1964.
