During the past 24 hours, Port Said Governorate witnessed important events, as Major General Arkan Harb Habashi, the governor of Port Said, congratulated the player Abdel Rahman Ashraf Rashad, the star of the Egyptian Handball Team for Youth, for winning the award for the best right wing in the World Championship, stressing that he will be honored within a major celebration for the people of the province excelled in the sporting and scientific fields, while continuing to support the talented in various games.

The Governor chaired the session of the Executive Council of Port Said Governorate, where the detailed plan of the city was approved, and to agree to the establishment of a civilized market in Port Fouad to eliminate random markets, in addition to ratifying the formation of the Health Regional Council to support the health system and provide advanced treatment services for oncology patients.
During the meeting, Major General Moheb Habashi thanked the members of the House of Representatives for their fruitful cooperation, and congratulated the new members of the Senate, stressing that the advancement of all sectors in the governorate is following parallel, with special support for young people as a basic pillar of development.
In the field of developing facilities, the governor announced the contract to purchase new buses to support the internal transportation system, and start procedures for building a new mosque on the tourist walkway, in addition to the completion of raising the efficiency of the airport road lighting and parts of the West Port Said road with modern solar powered lights.
The governor also held a meeting with the members of the Historic Port Said Association, where he agreed to re -maintain the Abdul Rahman Lotfi Heritage Mosque and the governorate bears full costs, as well as studying the formation of a board of trustees for the management of Islamic and Christian graves, to preserve its security and services.
In the context of responding to citizens ’complaints, the Governor of Port Said issued urgent directions to prevent the monopoly of the Islamic Association for Burning Services, and opened the door to new applicants for the profession of“ Al -Hanouti ”and“ Al -Tarabi ”under legal supervision, with the allocation of a cleaning company and security personnel to secure graves.
The executive bodies also continue to pave a new road in the C6 area linking the Al -Obour and Adel El -Sherbiny streets, and complete the efficiency of Al -Obour Street to the Housing Directorate, while the installation of 287 newly -powdered scouts has been completed on the West Port Said Road, within the framework of the governorate’s plan to develop the general lighting system and achieve sustainability.
