Paris Saint-Germain was crowned the European Super Cup for the first time in its history, after its exciting victory over its Tottenham counterpart with a penalty shootout 4-3. The match was held at the “Al -Farioli” stadium in Italy, and witnessed a strong return from the Parisian team, which was late with two clean goals.

Tottenham took control of the first half, and advanced in the 39th minute by Dutch defender Van de Vin. At the beginning of the second half, the Spurs captain Christian Romero strengthened his team’s progress with a second goal in the 48th minute, making the Paris Saint -Germain mission look very difficult.
But the Parisian team did not surrender, and succeeded in turning the table in the last moments. Kang reduced the difference by scoring a goal in the 85th minute, then Gonzalo Ramos tied in the 94th minute, taking the match to penalty shootout.
