The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced the recording of 11 new deaths during the past 24 hours as a result of hunger and malnutrition between them, a child, bringing the death toll to 251 martyrs.
According to a health statement, the total number of victims of starvation and malnutrition in the Strip rises to 251 martyrs, including 108 children, in disturbing indicators about the humanitarian and health situation in Gaza.
The World Food Program stated that more than 300,000 children are still in extreme danger, and that more than a third of the Gaza population reported not eating for consecutive days.
He explained that meeting the basic needs of food aid in Gaza requires more than 62 thousand tons per month, but so far it has not been allowed to enter sufficient quantities that ensure that about two million people survived.
The Palestinian Civil Defense reported that more than half of the ambulances in Gaza stopped working due to lack of fuel and spare parts, while the Food and Agriculture Organization warned that only 1.5% of agricultural lands in Gaza are still available and sound, in reference to the almost complete collapse of the local diet.
