Our national judo team participates in the Asian Championship in Jordan

Our national judo team is preparing to participate in the Asian Judo Championship hosted by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan during the period from 18-24 August, with the participation of 390 players and players representing 26 countries.

The delegation is chaired by a member of the Board of Directors of the Bahraini Judo Federation, Mr. Abdullah Jassim Al -Mannai. Ghazanov, who will participate in a weight competition under 81 KG, and the Sagera Sagaibov, who will participate in the weight of under 90 KG, Saeed Sadr Al -Dinov, who will participate in the weight competitions under 100 kg and Chochayev’s crises that will participate in a weight above 100 kg.

This participation comes within the framework of the Bahraini Judo Federation to enhance the presence of Bahraini judo in regional and international championships, and to raise the level of players through contact with the best classified players at the continent and the world level.

On this occasion, the Vice -President of the Bahraini Council for Mutality Games confirmed the President of the Bahraini Judo Federation, His Excellency Dr. Faisal Khaled was that the tournament represents an important station in the team’s march, strengthening the Bahraini presence in the continental championships and pushing the members of the national team towards full benefit in such posts, and seeking to appear at the level of honorable and competition for the achievement of colored medals in order to raise the flag and name of the Kingdom of Bahrain in this continental sports forum.

Kano said: “We trust the capabilities of the national team members and their insistence on providing their best, and through this participation we seek to win honorable results worthy of the reputation of Bahraini sport. The Asian championship has a high technical level, and our participation in it gives our players a great experience and pushes them for further development,” explaining that the Federation has set an intensive preparation program for players during the last period to ensure their full readiness.

This participation reflects the aspiration of the Bahraini judo team in enhancing its presence on the Asian Judo map, and taking advantage of the strength of the competitions to raise the level of technical and physical performance, in a way that serves the game’s march in the long run.
