The second preparatory meeting held today, which brought together the officials of the International Football Association, FIFA, and the officials of the African continent club Pyramids in order to agree on the arrangements for the New Zealand Auckland City match as part of the Intercontinental Cup.

The meeting witnessed the agreement between FIFA officials and Pyramids to determine the nine o’clock in the evening on September 14th, Cairo time, as a date for the match at the Cairo Air Defense Stadium, as well as coordination on the arrival of the Auckland City club mission to Cairo on September 12, where it will be held in one of the Fifth Settlement Hotels, and the team will take only one training at the Air Defense Stadium at 7 pm on September 13, before the important confrontation.
In another context, the CAF Champions League preliminary draw revealed the 2025-2026 season, the Pyramids team in the first preliminary round of the tournament.
The championship holder Pyramids will meet with its Rwandan National Army counterpart in the first preliminary round.
The first leg will be held on the 19th, 20, or 21 September 21, in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, while the second leg wrapped one of the 26, 27 or 28 days of the same month in Cairo.
