Perhaps the “nuclear” term trading may become more than the use of the “AI” vocabulary, especially after the recent events in the world. What is the flag behind the nuclear forces. In this article, I will focus on the legal organization of the nuclear forces in the Kingdom of Bahrain as the newest scientific topic in the legal library.

Beginning, we show that nuclear science and atomic science are not synonymous, and if there is some overlap between them about energy interactions, atomic science is more comprehensive than nuclear science, because the first focuses on the atom with its electronics, spectra, and the guarantee of the nucleus, while the second focuses on studying the nucleus of the “concentrated” atom and its components only.

The Kingdom of Bahrain has an important legislative system in support of development and sustainable energy, and therefore the Kingdom of Bahrain issued Law No. (17) of 2008 to agree to join the amending agreement for Arab cooperation in the use of atomic energy for peaceful purposes, and Law No. (15) of 2009 approval of the statute of the International Atomic Energy Agency in its amended form until 1989, and Resolution No. (29) of 2009 was issued to establish The National Committee for the Use of Nuclear Energy in the peaceful field, in addition to Law No. (13) of 2009 to ratify the agreement between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the International Atomic Energy Agency to implement guarantees within the framework of the Treaty of the Non -Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and the Protocol attached to it, as well as the issuance of Law No. (10) of 2011 to ratify the additional protocol of the agreement concluded between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the International Atomic Energy Agency in order to implement guarantees within the framework of the treaty Nuclear weapons are not spread. Recently, in the context of the official visit by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Council of Ministers, may God protect him for the United States of America, a memorandum of understanding was signed in July 2025 between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America in the field of peaceful nuclear energy, within the framework of the Kingdom’s commitment to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060 and in a way that contributes to facing the challenges of climate change and environmental protection.

The Bahrain Center for Strategic and International Studies and Energy Studies “Studies” yesterday, a fruitful intellectual dialogue yesterday, on “the future paths of nuclear energy in the Kingdom of Bahrain”, and drew both Dr. Mohammed bin Shams, Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Bahrain, and Dr. Abdullah Al -Abbasi – Director of the Energy and Environment Program at the Studies Center, and Dr. Mahmoud Ibrahim – Director of the carbon removal and energy efficiency program at Bapco Enemz, a professional artistic painting for the future of nuclear energy from the amount of accurate and balanced information provided in all professionalism. Indeed, it was a positive dialogue based on, we look forward to more about it to be organized by the “studies” of the expert always in the field, and with the same competent lecturers in the institutional framework of the authorities.
